Data platform
The data platform is divided into seven modules. At its core is NAREG (National Autopsy Register), which acts as the central data platform and electronic backbone for NATON. The data platform will ensure the operation of this basic IT functionality and thus the operation and continuous adaptation of NAREG. In addition, the data platform provides support to NATON partners and external researchers*, continuously optimizes usability, and is responsible for ensuring data security and transfer. Within the data platform, curation, standardization and harmonization of data is also foreseen. The data in NAREG will be structured and semantically annotated. To promote this standardization of the autopsy-specific data, a core pathology data set will be developed in the data platform.
