{"id":765,"date":"2021-07-23T10:18:17","date_gmt":"2021-07-23T08:18:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/defeat-pandemics.de\/?page_id=765"},"modified":"2022-06-09T11:12:47","modified_gmt":"2022-06-09T09:12:47","slug":"methoden-toolbox","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/naton.network\/en\/methoden-toolbox\/","title":{"rendered":"Methods Toolbox"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The overarching aim of the Methods Toolbox is to implement complementary state-of-the-art methods in the examination of autopsy specimens to substantially improve the understanding of a novel or rare disease, its organ manifestations, and underlying pathogenicity mechanisms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The toolbox to be applied herein is composed of the following high-end methods: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Minimal invasive autopsy (MIA)<\/strong> to augment postmortal tissue retrieval on a broader scale<\/li><li><strong>Omics\/single-cell transcriptomics <\/strong>High-resolution methods, on the pathogen and host side in autopsy tissues significantly contribute to the understanding of a novel and known disease, its organ manifestations, and underlying pathogenicity mechanisms<\/li><li><strong>Advanced Imaging technologies<\/strong> Complementary to the sequencing data, microscopic innovative imaging techniques will be applied <\/li><li>Finally, in <strong>Digitalization\/Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/strong>, digitalization of imaging data will enable computational analysis and the development of a discriminative model using AI.
